With no voice, no physical freedom – he spoke louder than most π
We need heroes, not the flawless seemingly perfect people – but those who remind us what weβre truly capable of, even in the face of unimaginable adversity.
I just watched “The Theory of Everything“, the story of Stephen Hawking. The actors were amazing, the storytelling beautiful – what struck me the most was him. Stephen Hawking was the story.
His challenges and how he overcame them each time, just in order to do even more. Be even more.
Diagnosed with ALS in his early twenties, he was told he had just a couple of years to live.
And yet⦠he lived for more than five decades.
Over time, he lost almost all voluntary muscle control.
– He couldnβt walk.
– He couldnβt feed himself.
– He couldnβt dress, write, or even speak on his own.
– Eventually, he communicated only through a single cheek muscle, connected to a speech-generating device.

Most people would have retreated into the shadows.
But Stephen Hawking became one of the brightest minds of our time.
He revolutionized our understanding of black holes and the cosmos.
He wrote books that inspired millions.
He became a father, lived through heartbreak, and found love again.
He made the world laugh.
He made the world think.
With no voice, no physical freedom – he spoke louder than most ever do.
“ππππ§π π©πππ§πβπ¨ π‘πππ, π©πππ§πβπ¨ ππ€π₯π.” were his words.
And where thereβs even a flicker of belief in ourselves, thereβs power.
Stephen Hawking is a role model and a hero not because he was perfectly superhuman – but because he was human. Like you. Like me.
His story shatters every excuse, every limiting belief, every βI canβt.β
It shows us whatβs possible when we stop focusing on what we lack, and start choosing to lead with what we have – our mind, our will, our spirit. Our resilience ![]()
We need heroes and role models. And we also need to step up ourselves ![]()
What would happen if you decided to believe in your own power – starting today? How would that change your life?
